Beaches:
If you are new to the island it is hard to underestimate its charm and variety of
facilities for the perfect island holiday. Every beach has a different feel, from
deserted to frenetic: Panormos beach has a chilled vibe beach bar, voted the best
anywhere by the Sunday Times travel section; Paraga has a great family feel taverna
serving wonderful Greek specialities, Elia, currently the most fashionable has the
best facilities and sand, watersports and comfortable sunbeds.Then there is Psarou
where you can "yacht spot", definitely the place to see and be seen by the very
wealthy. Paradise is young and brash, with great bar and pumped up music for the
party set who want to dance through to sunset in their bikinis; Super Paradise is
a great little bay with lively beach bars and tavernas; Lia is a quiet beach with
a highly regarded taverna especially popular with a trendy young Greek crowd.
Restaurants:

This may be a small island but the cuisine is superb. Choose from the wonderful little
Venice setting of "Aqua" for fine Italian cuisine and wines. Enjoy great quality meat
and fish dishes with a French feel at Katrines, one of the oldest restaurants on the
island; sample the finest pepper steak your likely to eat at Avra; Blue Ginger for
Thai and Chinese, overlooking the town, serves wonderfully authentic Oriental food.
There is a Nobu restaurant within the Belvedere Hotel; fabulous pizzas to be had at
Bandanna in Kalolivadi, Greek Cuisine with a twist at Orno; this is just a few of our
special favourites but the list is endless.
Bars and nightclubs:
The island boasts some of the liveliest nightlife in Greece. Greek music? Dancing 'til
dawn? Lively bars?: Cavo Paradiso, the World renowned nightclub is the largest on the
island, dance til dawn overlooking the bay at Paradise Beach. Mykonos town is the spot
for Space Disco, Pierros Cafe the gay bar and nightclub, and Caprice on Little Venice, there
are so many to choose from, amble through the narrow winding streets and find your own
favourite.
